Lil' Bub

BUB is a very special one of a kind critter. More specifically, she is the most amazing cat on the planet. In July of 2011, she was discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana at only a few weeks old. She was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Since then BUB has become one of the most famous cats on planet. She is a published author, a talk show host, the star of an award winning documentary, created Lil BUB's Big FUND for the ASPCA (the first national fund for special needs pets), and has helped raise over $600,000 for animals in need. Since becoming world-famous in the summer of 2012, BUB has made it her mission to spread a message of positivity, acceptance, perseverance, and of course animal welfare awareness, encouraging people to adopt, spay, and neuter their pets.

Paul The Cat Guy

It began by feeding a single can of cat food to a couple of cats by the Acropolis in Astoria. Then one can turned into two, then four, then six each night. Before I knew it, I began caretaking a colony of cats and that is where I began my quest. Within a few months of that I began Trap-Neuter-Return of those cats along with rescuing a litter of four kittens from one of the females I was feeding. That was in August 2014. Since then, I have been actively responding to reports of kittens in alleyways, colonies of unfixed cats in back yards, and other cat-related projects. Since August 2014 Cats Trap-Neuter-Returned Kittens Rescued and Homed Stray/Feral Cats Rescued and Homed Total cats’ lives directly saved and improved: 1200 and countless others indirectly.

Klaus, or "The Klaus" as he is know online, is the 18-year-old elder statesman of internet cats. Born at the dawn of the millennium, and once relegated to the life of a stray, he has been spoiled rotten since being adopted from a no-kill shelter in 2006. Klaus never sought the limelight, but his frequent appearances in photos and videos as Oskar the Blind Cat's sidekick led to a global fan base. Klaus is a mix of quirky and mellow, and most importantly, he truly loves travel and attention from new people. Rarely will you meet a cat as poised as The Klaus! Klaus will be joined by his cat dad, Mick Szydlowski, who diligently transcribed (and possibly enhanced) the real-life adventures of Oskar & Klaus in a series of illustrated children's books which are used in classrooms, children's hospitals, and are even read by astronauts in space!

Stache is certainly no ordinary Oriental Shorthair cat and the fact that his coloring with a full moustache is so unique make him an instant hit with everybody. If you stare at him long enough, a strange phenomenon begins to happen, he begins to resemble a number of Hollywood’s leading men. Perhaps it’s the air of distinction that comes with this top-notch facial hair, or that devilish glint in his eyes, but there is certainly something star-worthy! Stache currently resides in Monmouth County with his other social media famous feline brothers, Teddy, Dexter and Bindi. Together they are collectively known as the dobbikats and can be found on their popular at Instagram page @hobbikats.

The Catcade is not only Chicago’s first combination of a cat rescue and arcade-themed adoption lounge, but it's the first one in the world! After being inspired by visits to cat cafes across the world, Christopher Gutierrez and Shelly Casey founded their non-profit, The Catcade, in 2017. To-date, the 'Cade has saved over five hundred cats from high-kill shelters across the country, and provides a safe haven for both cats and cat people alike, all while maintaining a ridiculous authenticity they probably should have outgrown a long time ago.

Lil' Brian

Without Lil' Brian there would be no Catsbury Park, and without Catsbury Park there would be no Lil' Brian. Brian was born on the mean streets of Camden New Jersey along with his two siblings Brianna and Brandon. From there Brian made his way into the home of Catsbury founder DJ as a foster. Days after arriving, at just two weeks old, Brian started to get very ill. Numerous tests were done, but a diagnosis was not found. Eventually, Brian was diagnosed with a congenital abnormality called Megaesophagus. Many doctors had advised DJ that it may not be able to save Brian and that making the tough decision to let him go might be the best option. DJ was not willing to give up on brian and vowed to do whatever it took to give him every chance at a normal life. Through the help of a wonderful medical staff, fundraisers and just seer love and determination Brian outgrew his condition and became the spokes "person" for all that Catsbury Park is today. His likeness appears on Catsbury Park's logo, as well as the logos for the Convention and Catty Corner Podcast. Brian's story is a story of beating all the odds and never giving up. Now Lil' Brian (who is now 14lbs and not so little!) is a healthy, sweet and loving 2-year-old boy.
